First Thing First: Activate NYU NetID and Email

You have been admitted to Summer in NYC!  Congratulations!  Now what?

The first step for any admitted student at NYU is to activate your netID.  Your netID is your electronic identification at NYU, and you will find it in your admission letter. It is a combination of your initials and random numbers (ex. abc1234).  You can activate your netID online here.  Once you activate your netID and set a password, you will be able to log in to NYUHome.

NYUHome is the central student services website at NYU.  Through NYUHome, you will register for your spring course(s), pay your student bill, apply for campus housing, and access your NYU email, where you will receive all official University communications.

After you have access to NYUHome, you will want to prepare for your course registration.  Look over the summer session(s) course list to determine what courses you wish to take.  If a course has a prerequisite, we strongly suggest that you submit an enrollment request form as soon as possible so your academic record can be reviewed and you are approved and ready to register for the course early on before courses become full or waitlisted.

Further information about registration is available on the Academics page above.
